Brisbane heats up with MOLTEN 2024 AusIMM has opened early-bird registrations for MOLTEN 2024, the 12th International Conference on Molten Slags, Fluxes, and Salts, scheduled to be held in Brisbane from June 17 to 19. MOLTEN 2024 provides a platform for experts, researchers, and industry professionals to connect, share knowledge, and explore the latest innovations in high-temperature processing technologies, with a focus on supporting the transition to sustainable mining technologies. The line-up includes plenary speakers Professor Evgueni Jak (Australia), Professor Joohyun Park (South Korea) and Dr Pekka Taskinen (Finland). Professor Evgueni Jak. As well as presenting, Professor Jak- co-founder and director of the Pyrometallurgy Innovation Centre - is joint conference chair. "For those interested in developing and optimising high-temperature processing systems, this conference, held once every four years, is our version of the Olympics," he says in the official conference welcome statement.
