Boost for $7m Rosslea renewal plan for Tec-NQ
Training organisation Tec-NQ is set to replace and expand its flood-damaged Rosslea base after news of a $3.25 million grant.
Member for Townsville Scott Stewart announced the funding under the Queensland Independent Schools Block Grant Authority.
It will set the ball rolling for Tec-NQ to pursue the remainder of the money needed for the $7 million project, with some of the costs expected to be covered by insurance.
Tec-NQ provides a range of training and educational programs including senior school, boarding school, full-time apprentice training and industry upskilling.
