Multi-storey development planned for Stokes St
Townsville City Council has paved the way for a new 39-unit complex on the corner of Stokes and Hale streets in the CBD.
The Material Change of Use (MCU) was approved in this week's full council meeting, however further development approvals will be needed before construction can begin.
Planning and Development Committee Chair Cr Les Walker said the development would be a great step forward for the city and bringing people into the CBD.
