Works for Queensland in full flight at Rockhampton
Upgrades to the Rockhampton Airport Terminal, including a new mezzanine floor and passenger lounges, are on track for completion next month.
The work is being undertaken thanks to $6.44 million from the State Government’s $200 million COVID Works for Queensland program.
Acting Premier and Minister for Local Government Steven Miles, inspecting the construction site, said the upgrade had supported more than 50 local jobs.
“Across the State, Works for Queensland is has created or supported over 20,000 jobs, with Queenslanders employed to work on more than 1,860 projects," he said.
