Senex Energy is continuing to ramp up its Surat Basin gas operations, with production exceeding 29 TJ/day.
In the company's quarterly report today, managing director and chief executive officer Ian Davies said the new Roma North project was producing above nameplate capacity.
"Ramp-up is set to continue as new Atlas wells are brought online later this month," he said.

Senex Energy’s Project Atlas near Wandoan has started selling gas ahead of schedule, with Queensland power generator CleanCo among the first customers.
The first two trains are online for the five-train, 15 PJ/year gas processing facility, which is supplying gas at the Wallumbilla Gas Hub via Jemena's 60km $140 million Project Atlas pipeline.

Senex Energy has achieved first gas production at Project Atlas in the Surat Basin.
The Project Atlas drilling campaign commenced in August 2019 and Senex says 11 wells are complete out of about 60 planned wells.
The first four wells were recently brought online and produced gas immediately.

Jemena has completed the 60km pipeline that will connect Senex Energy’s Project Atlas to the east coast market, with first sales gas expected by the end of 2019.
Senex partnered with Jemena to build, own and operate a 15 petajoule per annum (40 TJ/day) gas processing facility and 60km buried pipeline to the Wallumbilla Hub.
Jemena has now reached mechanical completion of the pipeline, less than three months since construction began in July.

Senex Energy this week announced a second domestic gas sales agreement for its Project Atlas development, 20km south-west of Wandoan.
Under an initial two-year agreement, Senex will supply manufacturer Orora with 1.1 PJ from January 2020 and 2.2 PJ from January 2021.
There is built-in potential to extend the deal six years from January 2022 for up to 6.6 PJ of gas.
Gas will be supplied at the Wallumbilla Gas Hub in Queensland.
