Sandvik in bullish start to year with loader revamp

Sandvik is kicking off 2021 with the launch of a renewed Toro LH410, an underground loader with 10 tonnes payload capacity.

The manufacturer says the new Toro LH410 loader builds on the best parts of its predecessor, the successful Sandvik LH410, but offers many new features.

It promises high ramp speeds and fast bucket filling, with superior lift height compared to any other loader of the same size class to make truck loading easier.

The renewed loader features Sandvik Intelligent Control System, with a 7" touch screen display as a user interface.

Sandvik releases 18-tonne battery-powered loader

Sandvik has launched a new battery-electric loader, the 18-tonne LH518B.

The manufacturer says the LH518B has been designed entirely around the loader’s Artisan battery system and electric driveline to make the most of that technology.

Changing the loader battery does not require any cranes or forklifts, thanks to the patented AutoSwap feature.

Sandvik says the new LH518B battery-electric loader comes with an exceptional capacity for its size.

Its design allows the loader to fit in a 4.5 x 4.5m tunnel and carry 18-tonne loads.

Sandvik rolls out new underground loader

Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology has launched a new 12-tonne capacity, heavy-duty flameproof underground loader.

The manufacturer says the Sandvik LS312's new certified diesel engine system has been designed to cut emissions and maintenance.

"Our new Sandvik LS312 flameproof underground loader is full of new innovations designed to improve safety, minimise emissions, increase productivity and lower your operating costs," product manager Zane Swingler said.

"We have combined feedback from customers and service personnel with our long history in underground coal LHDs to continually improve the product.“
