Damian Vermey. Ark lays out supply opportunities at Gladstone luncheon Ark Energy will outline supply chain opportunities for the Boomer Green Energy Hub at a luncheon in Gladstone next week. Located 30 km south-west of Marlborough, the Boomer Green Energy Hub is a large-scale renewable energy project which currently involves a wind farm with 150 wind turbines. Connecting Industry managing director Kieran Moran said the project was expected to generate more than 350 jobs during the construction period and 20 full time jobs for operation. "Ark Energy project director Damian Vermey will introduce the business to industry and the supply chain and present potential procurement opportunities for their projects specifically the Boomer Green Energy Hub,” he said. “The strategic focus of the luncheon is to stimulate business development and solution-based opportunities and highlight renewable energy projects and their work opportunities to assist industry and the supply chain in their planning for future work.” The Connecting Industry luncheon with Ark Energy is being held at Club Gladstone (Gladstone Bowls Club) from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, February 21.
