Pure Hydrogen in deal for refuelling outlets

Pure Hydrogen Corporation has taken another step towards developing a major hydrogen network with a deal to help set up refuelling hubs on the East Coast of Australia.

The company has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with H2H Energy, which has agreed to supply and maintain refuelling outlets on a number of Pure Hydrogen’s proposed sites.

Among their refuelling solutions, is H2H Energy’s Gateway Refueller (below), a Queensland- designed and manufactured mobile hydrogen refueller with 18 months of field proven performance.

“It is great to be able to offer our Australian designed, built and supported hydrogen refuelling solutions to Pure Hydrogen and we look forward
to working with them on the roll-out of their planned network of hydrogen refuelling stations across the East Coast,” H2H Energy chief executive officer Cranston Polson said.

“We look forward to advancing the first refuelling site relatively quickly and reporting on progress.”

Pure Hydrogen said it was planning to develop hydrogen refuelling hubs on the East Coast of Australia in order to supply local customers with hydrogen fuel at the required pressure of 35 or 70MPa.

These sites will be used to refuel motor vehicles (especially trucks) powered by hydrogen gas.

Pure Hydrogen is already involved in a proposal to develop four East Coast hydrogen manufacturing and distribution hubs – Project Jupiter (Gladstone), Project Mars (Mackay), Liberty North (Newcastle) and Liberty South (South East Victoria) – with joint venture partner Liberty Hydrogen.

It recently signed a term sheet to form a joint venture with Synergen Met to use that company’s technology to manufacture hydrogen and solid carbon products from Pure Hydrogen’s 11 TCF of methane resources in Queensland and Botswana, and other gas resources.

The company plans to install the first module immediately adjacent to its Venus CSG project near Miles.

Pure Hydrogen said H2H’s refuelling stations were expected to be supplied when the first was planned to commence operation, at this stage within about 18 months.
