SBK Solutions has partnered with Loadscan to launch a new Mine Payload Scanner to Australia’s surface mining sector.

Pioneers of the patented LVS Load Volume Scanner, Loadscan’s latest innovation is a volume measurement scanner specifically designed and engineered for the demanding requirements of surface and underground mines throughout the world.

The new mining specification unit is a ”ground-up” redesign of the industry-standard LVS Load Volume Scanner and the result of close collaboration with numerous international mining customers.

SBK Solutions managing director Wayne Morris said SBK Solutions worked with Loadscan to develop a solution for the surface mining industry.

 “Since partnering with Loadscan our customers have been asking us for specific features for their mines and we have responded by developing the brand new MPS unit, which sets a new standard for payload scanning in the mining industry,” he said. 

“Along with this accurate scanning system we have developed a systematic process to deliver live instantaneous payload information to assist in improving productivity, efficiencies and increase overall profitability to mining companies and contractors.

“Our local partnership with Loadscan takes data collection to the next level through the addition of our Mine Optimisation Program.

“The program utilises both experience and logic to analyse all payload data and develop a comprehensive suite of actions and deployables that mine sites can use to increase their performance of the haul trucks.

“This helps managers make informed decisions about their current and future fleets.”

SBK Solutions seeks to add value to Australian mining through the creation of synergistic partnerships to create much-needed product development.
