Major lift in copper tonnage for Mount Cannindah

Cannindah Resources has hailed a 117 per cent increase in copper metal tonnes at its flagship Mount Cannindah project as it unveils an updated mineral resource estimate. Recent drilling has resulted in an expansion of the mineral resource estimate for the Central Queensland project to 14.5Mt at 1.09 per cent copper equivalent at a cut-off grade of 0.3 per cent CuEq.     Managing director Tom Pickett said the lift in copper metal from the previous MRE underscored the potential for the project’s growth.  “This is now the springboard we will use to build from whilst we drill more targets for more tonnage in future exploration,” he said.
