Liebherr adds 305-tonne truck to mining line
Liebherr has launched its T 274 mining truck, a 305-tonne machine promising fast cycle times, high production rates, low fuel consumption, and a low cost per tonne.
The manufacturer said the new addition to its mining product range offered a truck with the largest payload capacity in its class, moving more tonnes each hauling cycle.
It will load with four bucket passes of the Liebherr R 9800 hydraulic excavator and is also compatible with the brand new R 9600, the successor to the R 996B excavator.

Liebherr said the new truck followed the same base design as the T 284, benefiting from decades of field experience.
The Liebherr T 274 is powered by the most powerful engine in its class at 3650 hp, and the Liebherr Litronic Plus AC Drive system.
The Liebherr Trolley Assist System is available as an option on the T 274 – described as an effective first step on the road to zero-emission mine sites.
