There’s been outcropping copper-gold mineralisation identified with up to 16.6 percent Copper and 1.3 g/t Gold discovered at the Mount Hope Gap Prospect, Further good grades were established at the Lady Fanny Prospect the company told the ASX.

The results continue to show how much growth upside exists as the company was closing in on the interim Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at Greater Duchess, said Company’s Managing Director, Rob Watkins.

“Nothing exemplifies this more than the 116m @ 2.1% Cu, 0.3 g/t Au on the Boomerang Lode which remains completely open at depth. We also remain optimistic at the Gap target where first pass drilling has not explained the IP anomaly,” Mr Watkns said.

“Encouraging surface mineralisation up to 16.6% Cu, 1.3g/t Au has been discovered and significant halo style alteration was intersected in first pass drilling. Likewise at Lady Fanny, intersecting 23m @ 3.3% Cu, 0.2g/t Au, including 13m @ 5.3% Cu, 0.3g/t Au in the high grade northern plunge.

“This result in conjunction with the strong IP anomalies for a further 1.2 km north are some of the highest priority targets for ongoing drilling.”

Carnaby holds 100 percent ownership of the Tick Hill Gold Project in Queensland.

It is historically one of Australia highest grade and most profitable gold mines producing 511 koz at 22 g/t gold.
