Funding boost for major Yeppoon development
Plans for a $68.5 million development on the Yeppoon foreshore have received a $20 million boost from the Federal Government.
Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack has approved the funding to the Keppel Bay Sailing Club for the construction of the Yeppoon Foreshore Convention Centre.
Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry said she was pleased to see the funding signed off and to deliver on an election promise.
“The economic benefits that come with this development will be huge for the Capricorn Coast in both the short term and long term," she said.
