GBM Resources (ASX: GBM) has launched a multi-rig Stage 2 drilling program at the Twin Hills project in the Drummond Basin, with plans for about 20,000m of reverse circulation and 30,000m of diamond drilling.

This builds on the company’s Stage 1 program, which delivered results including 52m at 2.77g/t gold from 299m (Lone Sister) and 37m at 5.00g/t gold from 225m (309) - both outside the existing mineral resource estimate.

GBM seals deal on Twin Hills gold project

GBM Resources is moving further towards its goal of becoming a mid-tier Australian gold company with what it describes as the transformational acquisition of the Twin Hills project in North Queensland.

GBM has has signed a binding tenement sale agreement to acquire the project from a subsidiary of Pajingo mine owner Minjar Gold.

GBM lines up Twin Hills to build on gold hub

GBM Resources is well on the way to adding Minjar Gold's Twin Hills project to its growing suite of Drummond Basin gold tenements.

The company has entered a new non-binding agreement for the acquisition of Twin Hills, hot on the heels of its purchase of the nearby Yandan gold project from Aeris Resources.

Jadar to take on troubled silver-focused portfolio

Jadar Resources is ready to take over Moreton Resources' southern Queensland Granite Belt tenement portfolio, including the former Twin Hills silver mine.

The company announced that it had entered into a binding term sheet with Moreton Resources and subsidiary MRV Metals, in liquidation, for the acquisition.

It will pay $500,000 cash, with non-refundable deposit of $120,000 payable within three business days of execution of the term sheet.
