Bumper output for Stanmore coal operations

Stanmore Resources clocked up a record operational performance in 2025, with run-of-mine production hitting 20.5 million tonnes and saleable production of about 14 million tonnes across its Bowen Basin mines.

The company declared a fully franked dividend to shareholders of 8.9 US cents per share, totalling about $US80 million ($113 million).

Land deal to bring on Isaac South coal development

Stanmore Resources has reached a $100 million-plus deal with neighbouring tenement holders to pave the way for a mining operation at its Isaac South project near Moranbah.

The Bowen Basin coal player is now prioritising necessary studies and approvals to fast-track an investment decision on the project, expected to act as a cost-effective extension of the Isaac Downs mine and prolong the mine life at its Isaac Plains Complex.

It has executed an agreement with Moranbah South joint venture partners Anglo American and Exxaro for the rights to explore, study and then apply for a mining lease. . .

Blue Energy in hydrogen deal to fuel mine fleet

Stanmore’s Isaac Plains mining fleet at Moranbah may be running on hydrogen in future through a deal with gas proponent Blue Energy.

Blue Energy has executed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Stanmore Resources to supply hydrogen from future pilot production activities in its ATP 814 tenement in the Bowen Basin.

It follows an earlier deal between the parties to capture and market mine gas from Stanmore’s proposed Isaac Plains underground operation adjacent to Blue's ATP814. . .
