Jasper expected to make landfall Wednesday afternoon
Tropical Cyclone Jasper is set to cross the coast mid-afternoon tomorrow.
The Category-2 system is expected to weaken to a tropical low as it hits landfall.
The warning zone includes the area from Cape Flattery to Lucinda, taking in Cairns and Innisfail and extends inland to include Chillagoe.
