Federal pledge to fund Rocky Sports Stadium
Member for Capricornia Michelle Landry has committed up to $23 million in federal funds towards the development of a 'game changing' Rocky Sports Stadium.
The Rocky Sports Stadium aims to create a multi-purpose venue capable of hosting major events, as well as being a local community and sporting hub, which will provide a boost to the Central Queensland region.
“Back in 2013, one of my election commitments was to dedicate $500,000 towards a feasibility study to determine the best location for a sports stadium as a part of the CQNRL bid," Ms Landry said.
