New industry reporting requirements

New industry reporting practice directions, together with new data submission templates, are now available for minerals and coal, and petroleum and gas authority holders.The practice directions guide holders in lodging geoscience and tenure reports via the GSQ Lodgement Portal and using new data submission templates. 

The practice directions and templates will become mandatory on from tomorrow, 1 October 2020.

Govt fast-tracks $66m works to rebuild Queensland’s economy

State Development Minister Kate Jones has announced the fast-track of eight key projects to create thousands of jobs and leverage more than $330 million in private sector investment in Queensland. The $66 million capital works announcement was part of Queensland Economic Recovery Plan to rebuild Queensland’s economy, Ms Jones said.

“We’re fast-tracking these projects to get shovels in the ground and workers in jobs at a time Queenslanders need it most,” she said.“Construction is an important part of Queensland’s economic recovery strategy.
