Joint venture unveils hydrogen hub plans for CQ

Mackay and Gladstone have been earmarked for hydrogen manufacturing and distribution hubs under a new joint venture company.

Pure Hydrogen Corporation and Liberty Hydrogen have signed a binding term sheet to establish a company to be incorporated in the United States of America - Pure Hydrogen International.

The new venture plans to develop four hydrogen manufacturing and distribution hubs - Project Jupiter (Gladstone), Project Mars (Mackay), Liberty North (Newcastle) and Liberty South (South East Victoria).

Pure Hydrogen is a division of Real Energy Corporation, while Liberty Hydrogen is described as a private Australian hydrogen project. . .

Queensland gas plays headed for merger

Real Energy Corporation and Strata-X Energy are planning a merger to create a gas business with significant holdings in the Surat and Cooper basins, Queensland.

The new Pure Energy's assets would include Project Venus, located within the proven Walloon CSG fairway and immediately adjacent to gaspipeline infrastructure in the Surat Basin.

It is described as offering relatively low risk with significant upside potential of 694 PJ of prospective gas resource.
