Sizers offer a compact and efficient way of comminution in primary, secondary and tertiary stage crushing, in both underground and open pit operations.

Sizers have gained notoriety in wet and sticky applications where traditional crushers have struggled. However, MMD sizers have been developed to thrive in applications not usually deemed appropriate for their deployment.

As sizers originated in the coal industry, some believe that sizers are only suitable for soft material processing. . .

Copper-zinc rich massive sulphides intersection at CQ prospect

Drilling at Zenith Mineral's Snook prospect in Central Queensland has intersected copper rich sulphides.

The maiden seven-hole drill program is part of the company's Develin Creek volcanic hosted massive sulphide system (VMS) project.

The Snook prospect contained similar levels of copper, zinc, lead, silver and gold to those in Zenith's existing JORC resource inventory 30km to the north said CEO Mick Clifford.

"VMS deposits commonly have very high in-ground values and generally occur in clusters," said Mr Clifford.

John Byrne owns Combustion and Chemical Engineering in Townsville and fondly recalls the time when he was paid $15/day to be part of Alan Bond’s Americas Cup defence off Fremantle in 1987.

It’s only one of the professional guises he assumes. Others include solicitor and not. . .
