Collinsville power funding survives another attack
A federal Labor bid to block government funding for a business case for Shine Energy's proposed Collinsville coal-fired power plant has failed.
Labor energy spokesman Mark Butler moved that the funding process be disallowed, describing it as a rorted process to hand over taxpayer money to back a project that was entirely without merit and that no bank would touch with a barge pole.
