Harmony seeks amendment for optimum Eva output
A bid to amend the environmental authority for the Eva copper mine to step up the permitted level of ore extraction by more than 50 per cent has reached a milestone.
The change would align with Harmony Gold Mining Company's updated feasibility study for the greenfield copper mine, which culminated in the company's announcement in November that it had approved the $2.3 billion-plus development.
The amendment application is open for public comment until March 6.
