EGRU presents critical minerals seminar
Critical minerals will be the focus of a technical workshop hosted by JCU's Economic Geology Research Centre (EGRU) on October 9.
The workshop - via Zoom from 3pm - will feature presentations by world experts on critical minerals geology from Australia, Germany and United Kingdom.
Critical minerals - required for new technologies including energy storage - generally do not occur as separate deposits, but as by-products of other commodities.
