Breaking ground for Yeppoon Bunnings build

An official 'sod turning' has marked the start of construction on Gibb Group's multi-million-dollar Bunnings Warehouse Yeppoon at the Capricorn Coast’s Homemaker Centre.

Queensland builder De Luca Corporation is expected to recruit up to 250 workers during the construction period.

Set for completion in mid-2021, the 8900sq m development will see the second national retailer open their doors within the new $35 million complex, already home to Reece Plumbing Centre.

Gibb Group senior development Angus Holloway said the Bunnings Warehouse development represented a significant investment in the local community, boosting job opportunities and economic activity. . .

De Luca wins Bunnings build at Yeppoon

National property developer Gibb Group has selected Queensland company De Luca Corporation for construction of the Capricorn Coast Homemaker Centre’s Bunnings Warehouse.

The proposed multi-million-dollar Bunnings Warehouse development is expected to provide an estimated 100 construction jobs and more than 60 operational jobs upon completion.

The $35 million Capricorn Coast Homemaker Centre (Stage 1) is being developed on Yeppoon Rd  adjacent to the Tanby Rd roundabout in the Livingstone Shire.

The master-planned estate has been designed with the capacity to develop a range of large format. . .
