Range coal seam gas project on the back burner
Central Petroleum and Incitec Pivot have paused a coal seam gas project in the Surat Basin due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The joint venture partners cited logistical disruptions caused by the pandemic as well as significant disruptions to the global oil and domestic gas markets.
"IPL and CTP remain committed to the domestic gas project and look forward to restarting activities on the planned three-well production pilot as soon as possible," IPL managing director and chief executive officer Jeanne Johns said.
