Full steam ahead for Outback Way works
Work has begun on the next stage of a raft of Outback Way upgrade projects involving a $26 million spend over three years.
After sealing 18km between Boulia and Tobermorey, crews have now started on paving and sealing an additional 25km between the two communities and widening 17km of road between Winton and Boulia.

Council Mayor Rick Britton said the future looked bright for his community and
the wider Outback.
