If checking out some classic old pubs is you idea of seeing the sights, a new Far North Queensland walking tour may be just the thing.
Brisbane-owned Back Track Adventures is launching an Atherton Tablelands trek of about 40km in August that takes in the Barron Valley Hotel, Yungaburra (Lake Eacham) Hotel, Peeramon Hotel and Malanda Hotel.
