Aeon about-face on Walford Creek processing
Aeon Metals has dumped its previous processing strategy for Walford Creek, sending prefeasibility work for the copper-cobalt mine on a new trajectory.
It comes after an independent review of the key metallurgical elements of the Walford Creek prefeasibility study (PFS), initiated by interim chief executive officer and managing director Fred Hess.
Dr Hess, previously a non-executive director, took the helm after long-time chief executive officer and managing director Hamish Collins resigned last month.
The Aeon board has decided to suspend completion of the current PFS process workstream and heap leaching pyrite concentrate testwork program for Walford Creek. . .
