Revolver set for next Dianne drilling round
Revolver Resources is set to begin its summer 2022 diamond drilling program at the Dianne project, with priority on a conductive anomaly immediately beneath the historical mining pit.
DDH1 drilling rig 27 – a Sandvik DE710 track-mounted rig – is set to commence the next phase of step-out diamond drilling at the site, 165km north-west of Cairns.
“In the 12 months since Revolver’s IPO, we have systematically and methodically worked across the entire Dianne project, establishing incredible new datasets to continuously develop and grow our detailed technical understanding of this vastly under-explored region,” Revolver Resources managing director Pat Williams said.
“We are the first to ever undertake modern exploration activities, utilising the benefits of leading-edge technologies in this region, and Revolver has been the first to discover evidence of a clear regional trend running through the entire exploration tenement and within this trend the location and characteristics of a number of high priority drill targets.

“The company has previously delivered over 2900m of diamond drilling, and has established comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Dianne project’s geological setting and geneses.
“It is this comprehensive geological model which is guiding our upcoming diamond drill program. We look forward to completing a safe, disciplined drilling program over the coming months and delivering regular updates on Queensland’s next big potential copper discovery at the Dianne project.”
The initial drill target of the program is the anomaly directly beneath the Dianne pit, with two diamond core holes planned for this location.
Drilling completed last year by Revolver identified a shallow remaining zone of mineralisation with copper grades of up to 19.8 per cent determined by laboratory assay.
Revolver said at least 1000m of drilling was planned for this anomaly before moving the drill outbound to commence on the other high-priority tenement-wide targets.
