

Resources companies strut their stuff on Noosa stage
The Noosa Mining Investor Conference has kicked off with a field of well-qualified contenders presenting their value offer.
Queensland companies are represented in each of the emerging explorer, energy, copper-gold and critical minerals categories.
Tartana Minerals and Pacgold are first out of the blocks this morning.
Tartana is hailing a significant gold province including its tenements in the Chillagoe region, which are serving up an estimate of one million ounces.

Pacgold is adding to its reputation as a leader in identifying high-value Far North Queensland resources with its work on the St George antimony project, 70km west of Mount Carbine.
Investors will also hear from Zeotech today. Zeotech has captured the imagination of lower emissions advocates with its metakaolin product called AusPozz.

Day two launches with a keynote address by investment director FatTail Research James Cooper titled ‘Commodity Cycle Turning: Positive Signals into 2026’.
Thursday morning addresses energy and features Taroom Trough hopefuls Elixir and Omega Energy. These projects boast Shell as a next-door neighbour on tenements east of the Moonie oilfields in South-West Queensland.


They’re followed by Greenvale Energy and Basin Energy. Greenvale is among Queensland’s uranium juniors following the acquisition of the Oasis project, 50k west of Greenvale.
Sunshine Metals and Cannindah Resources carry the torch for Queensland in the copper-gold category that afternoon.
Silica sand project developer Diatreme will outline how it has expanded its Cape Flattery resources to more than three quarters of a billion tonnes, before Zenith Minerals takes the podium.
Zenith recently launched a 4000m reverse circulation drilling program at its Red Mountain gold project, west of Bundaberg.
“Red Mountain keeps getting bigger — and now we’re moving faster,” Zenith managing director Andrew Smith said.
