QMines (ASX:QML) has reported results including 44m at 1.03 per cent copper, 0.15g/t gold and 2.3g/t silver from 103m in the latest assays from drilling at Mount Chalmers.
It is part of the company’s 10,000m multi-rig campaign supporting a definitive feasibility study for the project.
“These results continue to build confidence in the scale and continuity of the Mount Chalmers mineralised system,” QMines exploration manager Tom Bartschi said.

Drilling at the Briggs project in Central Queensland has returned an intersection of 76.7m at 0.34 per cent copper.
Alma Metals (ASX: ALM) said assays for this drillhole showed consistent copper mineralisation along the entire length of the
hole (383.8m at 0.25 per cent copper from 10m).
It is part of an 80-hole program designed to infill the entire mineral resource area to a nominal 80m drill spacing suitable for an indicated resource.
“Hole 26BRD0042 confirms what we are increasingly seeing across the northern rim of the system, a well-developed higher-grade zone of copper mineralisation that follows the contact between the intrusive core and the surrounding volcanics in a consistent and predictable pattern,” Alma Metals managing director Frazer Tabeart said.
“With at least 200m of strike-length already defined on this margin and further drilling planned to the north-west later this year, we expect to see this zone continue to grow.
“The predictability of grade distribution here gives us real confidence in the geological model underpinning the pre-feasibility study.”
Brisbane-based Graphene Manufacturing Group (TSX-V: GMG) has attracted a $US10 million share placement from a private investor.
The company intends to use the net proceeds to scale up graphene production and liquid graphene production capacity, scale-up of battery cell production capacity, commercialisation of liquid graphene products, working capital and general corporate purposes.
“This investment will allow for the continued execution of GMG’s global growth strategy,” non-executive chairman and director Jack Perkowski said.
“Securing a significant capital commitment is a strong vote of confidence in our technology and our team. North America remains a key market for GMG, and this additional investment positions us well to scale production and drive long-term adoption of our graphene-enhanced products across the region.”
GBM Resources (ASX: GBM) has released further assay results from the ongoing Stage 2 drilling program at the Twin Hills gold project.
Chief executive officer Daniel Hastings described a 101m intersection grading at 2.63g/t gold intersection at Lone Sister as particularly encouraging.
“With approximately 8,400m of assays pending, we see good potential for the Stage 2 program to deliver both increased confidence and growth as we progress towards the next Twin Hills mineral resource update,” he said.
