M Critical Minerals co-founder and managing director Gerhard Redelinghuys has joined the Mastermyne Group (ASX:MYE) board as the mining contractor positions for its next growth phase.


Mr Redelinghuys (pictured right) brings more than 30 years’ experience across finance, mining operations, project development, corporate strategy and capital markets.
He founded Bowen Coking Coal Limited (ASX: BCB) in 2016 and has held executive roles including managing director of Exxaro Australia.
He has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at Mastermyne.
“Gerhard’s appointment comes as Mastermyne focuses on delivering its strategy from a strengthened financial position,” Mastermyne chair Caroline Chan said.
“His perspective will be valuable as the company evaluates opportunities to grow its core contracting business and pursue disciplined growth opportunities.”

Eloise copper mine owner AIC Mines (ASX: A1M) has announced the appointment of former Evolution Mining chief operating officer Mark Le Messurier as an independent non-executive director.
Mr Le Messurier (pictured left) has more than 40 years of experience with Australian and international mining companies, spanning executive leadership, mine development and operations.
He was most recently managing director of Federation Mining, where he co-founded the company and led the development of the Snowy River gold project in New Zealand.
Brett Montgomery is retiring as a non-executive director of the company following his relocation to Hong Kong.
