Date: July 27 2.30pm-5.30pm The Society for Geology Applied to Mineral Deposits (SGA) is holding its inaugural field conference in the North Australian zinc belt. The event in the Mount Isa and Cloncurry region is scheduled for July 31-August 4. The conference will include morning lectures, workshops, and case studies complemented by afternoon field visits in the area. A team of international and Australian lecturers from universities, geological surveys and industry will speak on the origin of and exploration for sediment-hosted base metal deposits and iron-oxide copper-gold and related deposits.
