Sunshine Metals is poised to start 2025 drilling activities at the shallow Tigertown gold prospect within its Ravenswood Consolidated Project.

The program will consist of seven holes for 620m, building on limited historical wide-spaced drilling at the target, about 1.2km west of the Liontown deposit.

“The rain has cleared, and we are excited to kick off 2025 drilling activities at Tigertown,” Sunshine managing director Damien Keys said.

“Tigertown has been on our radar since we acquired the Greater Liontown project in September 2023, due to encouraging near-surface gold and silver intercepts.

“Our drilling will test immediately along strike from historic intercepts with an aim to define a shallow gold resource, close to our existing Liontown resource.”

Sunshine said effective historical drilling of the main Tigertown vein was limited to six holes (643.5m) targeting an outcropping barite vein network.

The company recently mapped and sampled the vein, returning rock chip assays of up to 3.24g/t gold and 91g/t silver.

Notable intersections from past drilling include:

• 17m at 3.05g/t gold, 40g/t silver from 22m
• 33m at 1.95g/t gold, 30g/t silver from 12m
• 2m at 6.57g/t gold, 215g/t silver from 87m

Sunshine will continue field reconnaissance mapping at Lynx, Cougartown and Cougartown West in parallel with drilling programs.

Meanwhile the company announced that it had recently relocated its head office and warehouse facilities following the expiration of its Mackley St lease in Townsville.

The new warehouse and yard are located in Charters Towers, closer to the project area. The company said its new head office was a compact workspace within walking distance of the Townsville CBD and the Department of Resources head office.

‘The move to the new warehouse and office will result in about 25 per cent annual savings in rent and will improve productivity at site,’ Sunshine said in an update to the ASX.
