More high-grade hits from Iltani’s Link Zone drilling

Iltani Resources has chalked up more high-grade intercepts in the Link Zone that sits outside the established mineral resource at its Orient project.

Iltani Resources (ASX: ILT) managing director Donald Garner said the latest ‘excellent’ drilling results to come out of the 110-hole drilling program underway at Orient included an intercept of more than 1000 silver grade metres and more than 1000 silver equivalent grade metres.

“All the Link Zone drilling sits outside the current Orient mineral resource, and we have now defined Link Zone mineralisation over 240m strike to 145m depth (from surface), with an additional 400m-plus of strike extent remaining to be tested,” he said.

“The drilling has delivered multiple intersections of high-grade lead-silver-zinc-indium mineralisation within the Link Zone, and we believe this has the potential to translate into a material increase in the Orient mineral resource, with an MRE update planned for delivery in Q4 CY2026.”

Results include:

  • ORR190: 13m at 334g/t silver equivalent from 141m, including 8m at 492g/t silver equivalent from 143m, including 2m at 1237g/t silver equivalent (531g/t silver, 112g/t indium, 10.3 per cent leda and 5.7 per cent zinc) from 144m.
  • ORR192 intersected 18m at 123g/t Ag Eq. from 70m, including 6m at 248g/t Ag Eq. from 72m, including 1m at 548g/t Ag Eq. from 76m.
  • ORR196 intersected 3m at 220g/t Ag Eq. from 155m including 1m at 402g/t Ag Eq. from 156m.

Iltani plans to complete a scoping study early next year for the Orient silver-indium project, which is part of its broader Herberton project in North Queensland.

The Orient project JORC resource estimate stands at 62.5 Mt at 81.5g/t Ag Eq. (23g/t silver, 12g/t indium, 0.6 per cent lead and 0.7 per cent zinc).
