The Twin Hills Project is a significant gold exploration and development project located in Queensland’s Drummond Basin, a region known for hosting several epithermal gold systems.
The project is owned by GBM Resources and forms a key component of the company’s strategy to build a large gold district in the basin alongside its nearby Yandan and Mount Coolon projects.
The project area covers about 1100sq km of exploration tenements and contains several identified deposits, most notably the 309 deposit and the Lone Sister deposit, which lie about 7km apart along a major structural corridor.
Current estimates outline a JORC-compliant mineral resource of about 23.1 million tonnes grading 1.3g/t gold, containing roughly 999,000oz of gold, with additional silver credits.
The mineralisation occurs within low-sulphidation epithermal quartz-sulphide systems, a deposit style known for producing high-grade gold deposits worldwide.
GBM Resources continues to undertake drilling programs aimed at expanding the resource base and evaluating potential open-pit and underground mining options.
