Triumph is a gold exploration and development project located roughly 50–80km south of Gladstone within the New England Orogen, a geological belt known for hosting several significant gold deposits.

The project is held by Dart Mining, which acquired the asset as part of its strategy to expand its gold exploration portfolio in eastern Australia.

The project area covers two exploration permits totalling about 138sq km and is centred on the historic Norton goldfield, where around 20,000oz of gold was produced between 1879 and 1941 from small-scale underground and alluvial workings.

Geologically, Triumph is interpreted as an intrusion-related gold system, hosted within the Norton Tonalite intrusion and surrounding sedimentary rocks of the Wandilla Formation.

Mineralisation occurs along structural corridors and faults, including the Norton Fault, and has the potential to form both high-grade quartz vein deposits and broader shear-hosted gold zones.

Recent drilling programs have identified multiple mineralised lodes and sulphide zones, suggesting the gold system may extend further along strike and at depth.

Exploration work continues to test these structures and expand the resource potential, with the project considered prospective for a larger intrusion-related gold deposit within Central Queensland.
