The Ruddygore Project is a copper-gold-silver exploration project located near Chillagoe, about 150km west of Cairns.

The project is owned by Ballymore Resources, which is exploring the area for large-scale base-metal and precious-metal deposits.

The project covers a substantial tenement package of about 550–560sq km and sits within a highly prospective mineral belt that hosts several historical mines and major deposits, including Red Dome and Mungana.

The Ruddygore area itself has a long mining history, with copper production occurring between 1896 and 1909, alongside nearby operations producing silver, lead and zinc.

Current exploration has identified a large mineralised system with potential for a shallow, bulk-tonnage copper deposit, supported by drilling, geophysical surveys and geochemical sampling.

In addition to copper, the project hosts polymetallic mineralisation including gold, silver, lead and zinc across multiple prospects including Maniopota and Torpy’s.

Ongoing drilling and geophysical programs continue to refine targets, with the project considered a promising emerging base-metal development opportunity.
