Yari Resources’ Rolleston South coal project comprises two granted exploration permits for coal situated near Glencore’s Rolleston open-cut coal mine.

The site hosts a 222.9Mt JORC coal resource.

Laboratory analysis has verified the raw coal at Rolleston South as high-grade coal, capable of producing exceptional washed semi-soft coking and thermal coal products.

Yari Minerals acquired the Rolleston South coal project in May 2025 through the acquisition of owner Resource Chain.

Since then it has increased the JORC inferred resource by about 140 per cent, from 78.9Mt to 190Mt.
