The Piccadilly Project is a gold exploration and development project located about 60–80km north of Charters Towers.
Owned by Cannindah Resources, the project comprises one granted mining lease (ML 1442) and surrounding exploration permits, covering a district with a history of small-scale gold mining.
Geological studies indicate the presence of a large intrusion-related gold system, with mineralisation associated with quartz veins, breccias and structural zones similar to other major North Queensland gold deposits.
Exploration activities, including trenching and drilling, have identified high-grade gold zones within broader mineralised systems, highlighting potential for both narrow high-grade lodes and bulk-tonnage targets.
Although still at an early exploration and evaluation stage, the Piccadilly Project benefits from good access to infrastructure, including sealed roads and nearby power.
Ongoing work is focused on refining drill targets and assessing the project’s potential to develop into another significant Charters Towers region gold operation.
