The Mount Cuthbert Resources site is a copper mining and processing operation located about120km north-east of Mount Isa and 120km north-west of Cloncurry.

The operation is owned by the private Adelaide-based company Mt Cuthbert Group, which is focused on copper exploration, mining and downstream processing across the region.

It comprises a substantial tenement holding, including multiple mining leases and exploration permits covering both existing resources and exploration targets.

It is centred on the historic Mount Cuthbert copper district, which was originally developed in the early 20th century and formed part of a broader network of copper mines and smelting operations in the Cloncurry region.

The operation includes SX-EW (solvent extraction and electrowinning) facilities to produce copper cathode.

The project benefits from its location within a major mining province that hosts operations run by global companies, providing access to established infrastructure and skilled labour.
