The Mount Chalmers Project is an advanced copper-gold-silver development located around 20km north-east of Rockhampton in central Queensland.

The project is owned and being advanced by QMines Limited, which holds a 100 per cent interest and is progressing the asset toward redevelopment as part of a broader regional mining hub.

Mount Chalmers is centred on a high-grade historic mine that operated intermittently from the late 1800s through to 1982, producing copper, gold and silver from both underground and later open-cut operations.

The deposit is classified as a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VHMS) system, hosting polymetallic mineralisation with strong grades and potential for further expansion.

Current development plans focus on restarting mining as a modern open-pit operation, with studies targeting an initial ~1 million tonne per annum processing rate and the potential to scale production over time.

The project is also intended to act as the central processing hub for nearby deposits such as Mount Mackenzie and Develin Creek.
