The Millennium Project is an advanced copper-cobalt-gold-graphite exploration and development project located about 35km west-north-west of Cloncurry within the highly prospective Mount Isa Inlier. The project is being advanced by Metal Bank, which is earning an interest of up to 80 per cent through a joint venture with Global Energy Metals.
The project hosts a JORC-compliant inferred resource of around 8.4 million tonnes at about 1.23 per cent copper equivalent, containing copper, cobalt, gold and silver mineralisation. Mineralisation occurs near surface across multiple granted mining leases, supporting potential development as an open-pit operation with relatively low stripping requirements.
A key recent development has been the identification of high-grade graphite mineralisation, extending over more than 2km of strike and occurring adjacent to the existing resource. This has transformed the project into a multi-commodity critical minerals opportunity, with potential to supply both traditional metals and battery materials.
The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, including proximity to the Rocklands processing facility (about 20km away) and established transport networks in the Mount Isa region.
Currently in the advanced exploration and study phase, Millennium is considered a near-term development opportunity, with ongoing drilling and metallurgical work aimed at expanding resources and advancing toward production.
