The Jeebropilly Mine was an open-cut thermal coal operation located near Amberley, about 18km west of Ipswich and about 55km south-west of Brisbane in south-east Queensland. The mine formed part of the West Moreton coalfield within the Clarence-Moreton Basin and was owned and operated by New Hope Group.

Mining at Jeebropilly began in 1982 and used conventional truck-and-shovel open-pit methods to extract thermal coal from the Walloon Coal Measures. At its peak the operation produced close to two million tonnes of coal annually, supplying both domestic markets and export customers.

Operations were temporarily suspended in 2007 but recommenced in 2008 when coal prices increased. The mine continued operating for another decade before permanently closing in December 2019, marking the end of nearly 200 years of coal mining in the Ipswich region.

Since closure, rehabilitation programs have restored much of the site, with land progressively returned to grazing and other post-mining uses.
