The Hadleigh Castle Project is a gold exploration and redevelopment project located about 36km east of Charters Towers in North Queensland. The project forms part of the broader Ravenswood Project held by Ballymore Resources, which covers a large area of the historical Charters Towers–Ravenswood gold province.

The deposit hosts a complex network of quartz-polymetallic sulphide veins within a major shear zone in granodiorite host rocks. Historically, both underground and open-pit mining have been undertaken at the site, with total recorded production of roughly 350,000 ounces of gold from about 3.15 million tonnes of ore at an average grade of around 3.45g/t gold.

Ballymore Resources is exploring the area to identify extensions of the known mineralised lodes and to assess the potential for additional gold deposits along the same structural corridor. The project sits within a highly prospective belt that also hosts several major historic mines such as Mount Wright and Mount Leyshon.

Although still at the exploration stage, the Hadleigh Castle Project represents a potential opportunity to redevelop a historic high-grade gold system within one of Queensland’s most productive gold mining districts.
