The Gilded Rose Project is a gold exploration and development project located near Cloncurry in north-west Queensland, within the highly mineralised Mount Isa region. The project centres on the historical Gilded Rose mine, which lies about 30km from Cloncurry along the Cloncurry–McKinlay road.

Gold mineralisation at Gilded Rose occurs within quartz veins and shear zones hosted in metamorphic and volcanic rocks. Historical underground mining at the site targeted high-grade gold reefs, with some operations reaching depths of around 60m before activity ceased when miners encountered sulphide zones that were more difficult to process with older technology.

Modern exploration has focused on drilling programs to identify extensions of the known mineralised reefs and additional parallel structures across the project area. Results have indicated the presence of multiple high-grade zones and the potential for a larger gold system than previously recognised.

In recent years the project has changed ownership several times as companies have evaluated redevelopment opportunities, including plans for a multi-pit gold mining hub in the Cloncurry district.
