The Clermont gold project is an exploration and development project located near the town of Clermont in central Queensland. The project sits within a region with a long history of gold mining, with the Clermont goldfield having produced significant quantities of gold since the late nineteenth century.

The project targets gold mineralisation hosted within quartz veins and altered volcanic rocks associated with historic workings across the district. Exploration programs have included geological mapping, soil sampling, geophysical surveys and drilling aimed at identifying new gold deposits and extensions to known mineralised zones.

Several prospects within the broader project area show potential for economic gold mineralisation, with studies investigating the possibility of developing open-pit mining operations if sufficient resources are defined. Any future development would likely involve conventional mining methods followed by processing through a gold recovery plant.
