Brisbane mineral separation plant

The Brisbane mineral separation plant (MSP) is capable of processing raw metals into finished products, including titanium, zircon, and rare earth concentrate.
Previously operated by Consolidated Rutile, Iluka, and Sibelco, the plant was acquired by RZ Resources in 2021.
RZ Resources proposes to upgrade and convert the Pinkenba plant and associated infrastructure to process material from its Copi mineral sands project in New South Wales as well as third-party feedstocks.
The refurbished Brisbane-based mineral separation plant is targeted for commissioning in 2027 and is expected to process third-party feedstock ahead of the Copi mine coming online.
