Jericho growth potential shines in latest drill results
The latest results from extension drilling at the Jericho copper deposit in North-West Queensland point to continued mineralisation at depth.
AIC Mines said wide-spaced step-out drilling had successfully tested the J1 and J2 lenses down-plunge and at depth.
It has delivered a material down-plunge extension of the J1 lens, with mineralisation intersected 250m below the current Jumbuck and Squatter mineral resources (to approximately 600m below surface).
Results included:
• 5.0m grading 1.3 per cent copper, 0.1g/t gold and 1.6g/t silver (1.4 per cent CuEq) from 740.0m, and 3.6m grading 2.7 per cent copper, 0.4g/t gold and 2.7g/t silver (3.1 per cent CuEq) from 751.2m
• 3.6m grading 1.1 per cent copper, 0.1g/t gold and 0.8g/t silver (1.2 per cent CuEq) from 496.3m, and 4.0m grading 1.1 per cent copper, 0.1g/t gold and 2.9g/t silver (1.2 per cent CuEq) from 521.0

“These results highlight the quality of the Jericho system – its continuity at depth and its significant scale,” AIC Mines managing director Aaron Colleran said.
“It reinforces our confidence in the long-term growth potential of this asset.”

The Jericho copper deposit is located 4km south of AIC’s producing Eloise copper mine and processing plant, 60km south-east of Cloncurry.
AIC Mines is constructing an underground access drive between the sites to bring the Jericho mine online.
The development of the Jericho deposit and an expansion of the Eloise processing plant are forecast to lift annual production to more than 20,000tpa copper in concentrate from FY28.
