GBM extends 309 deposit gold mineralisation

GBM Resources (ASX: GBM) has released new drilling results from Twin Hills, where it has extended the known gold mineralisation at the 309 deposit.

GBM chief executive officer Daniel Hastings said the company was now in a position to develop a more expansive drilling program to fully define the upper open-pit resource, speeding its progress towards development.

Significant new assay results from 309 include:
▪ 29m at 3.13g/t gold from 194m downhole (TNDH010), including 4m at 15.11g/t gold from 195m, including 1m at 49.87g/t gold from 196m
▪ 29m at 2.63g/t gold from 302m (TNDH004), including 3m at 16.56g/t gold from 307m
▪ 13m at 2.14g/t gold from 373m (TNDH003), including 5m at 3.43g/t gold from 379m

GBM said the results from TNDH004 had proven continuity of an identified high-grade mineralised zone outside of the existing 309 mineral resources estimate of 10.6Mt at 1.5g/t gold for 0.52Moz (open pit and underground combined).

Assays are pending for a further seven drillholes for 2225m from Stage 1 drilling at 309.

GBM plans to kick off a Stage 2 drilling program in the coming weeks.
